Who said you couldn't wear both?
New month. New slay!
September is finally here and that means fashion month is upon us and we're moving into transitional weather. All summer long I have been gathering up inspo and planning out what I want my fall wardrobe to look like. I think I have a good grasp on things and I can't wait to share them here with you guys!
Todays loo is all about taking fall colors and starting the transition a little early. I'm a huge fan of anything olive so this has to be one of my favorite looks here on the blog. What I reply love is the endless possibilities a great dress can give you. My "top" is actually a dress I got at H&M not too long ago. Initially seeing it in blush I thought it was great quality and had an expensive look despite the 9.99 price tag. I paired it with a similar color paper bag waist skirt and simple heels. To achieve the look of transitioning a dress to a top it's all about finding the right pieces. Light fabric is your best friend and classic necklines are a must. It's easier to pull this off if you can imagine cutting your dress in half and thinking it'll be the perfect top. Anything can be done with a little effort and imagination!
Until next time,
